The little kids always
seem to wake up around 5:00am.
They are so pent up from
being locked inside with
their video games and their
over protective parents
that when they do
get outside for that
brief second on their
way to the bus stop
it’s just a menagerie
of screams and yelps.
I roll over and
cover my ears, but
it never works.
Don’t those little guys
know that lazy fucks
sleep until noon?
